m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
afa has to be favourite for the Everton job now, surely :) He'll realise his ambition to live and work on Merseyside again, get the best out of whoever plays for them, maybe win some cups and be thoroughly loathed by the toffee fans. What's not to like? Go ead, Ken, gimajob!

If I am not mistaken TV rights are not a part of commercial Income, United though is not far away from Real & Barca but it is something like 5%-6% difference to total revenue, But United was way ahead of Real Madrid & Barcelona in terms of Match day revenues, While Bayern are managing the best Commercial revenue to total revenue atm.....

A quick correction to the article. Where it says: The club's gross debt has decreased by 16.1% since 30 June 2012 to £436.9m. Should read: The club's gross debt has decreased by 16.1% since 31-Dec-11 to £366.6m from £436.9m.

@r3dz Real Madrid and Barcelona are free to negotiate their own exclusive TV deals, whereas the Premier League negotiates the TV deals on behalf of all clubs in England, to ensure they all get a fair 'slice of the cake'. There is little doubt that Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal could generate significant sums of revenue by breaking up the Premier League's stranglehold on the TV deals, but it would seriously affect the competitiveness of the League as the smaller clubs wouldn't be able to attract as good a deal. Hence why Real & Barca are rarely challenged for the La Liga title by any other clubs.

I remember seeing the breakup of top clubs' revenue for last year a few days back and unable to find that despite of the presence of amazing Google but I remember United had the lowest contribution of commercial revenue in its total revenue as compared to Real Madrid & Barcelona, and that was the point I thought United could improve on, if someone can present that data here, It would be really good.....
