m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
afa has to be favourite for the Everton job now, surely :) He'll realise his ambition to live and work on Merseyside again, get the best out of whoever plays for them, maybe win some cups and be thoroughly loathed by the toffee fans. What's not to like? Go ead, Ken, gimajob!

He is one of a number of solid shouts for players that look old before their time. We also have the final words on lovely D-Beck and a rejection of end of season playoffs...
That's one opinion, but others give their thanks to the man. We also have ideas for a relegation playoff, happy memories of the season and a defence of Liverpool's campaign...

@brendan....thats not a 'fact' though is it? In fact there is not a single shred of evidence to suggest any ref is scared of an old age pensioner shouting at them, the mere suggestion is totally stupid and demonstrates the level of delusion Pool fans will lower themselves to. Fergies fault now is it? Even though Madrid did f**k all until the sending off? The whole world saw who the better team was, just some fans aren't big enough to accept that. Still I bet you think its ok for Suarez to stamp on people don't you. But controlling the ball is dangerous....we couldnt make you lot up!

Are there sadder fans than Liverpool fans? Never has a team in 7th made so much noise.....mind you, with debts up to their eyeballs, their best player a lying cheat, a championship manager and a load of rejects from other clubs...what else have they got to be cheerful about other than United being robbed? Of course none of this is LFC fault of course....its all down to a 'conspiracy' against Liverpool!

Fact of the matter is in the Prem he wouldnt have been sent off because the referees fear SAF, in Europe its different they don't fear him hes just another manager who will not like ANY decision that goes against his team. In my opinion it was harsh but you can see why he gave it on the other hand! Some of the biggest talking points in games are bad decisions Maradonna (handball) Henry (Handball) Roy Carroll (ball 5m over the line) Lampard (Ball over line) the list goes on, UTD fans build a bridge the order of the world will be corrected soon enough when you get the decision going your way!! Anyway I think SAF was to blame he left out the man who has got Man Utd more points than ANY player over the past 5 years...................... .........Leaving Howard Webb out was a massive mistake!!

Actually Sean, its 2-1 to United....Pool have only won ONE Champions League, we've won two. Harder these days, better teams in it, more money about, better grounds, better football.....thats why you aren't in it anymore.

@Bettyswollocks....Of course he did mate, yeah Fergie 'fluked' it in 99 never losing to Bayern in 3 games....but it was a fluke! Just like we 'fluked' the league and FA Cup in the same year! 08, yeah another 'fluke' where we beat Chelsea...and also won the title, proving how much of a 'fluke' it was! Yeah, real flukey is our Fergie. Not like the 'great' Pool sides that only had to play 4 rounds to get to a final and then beat the likes of the mighty....erm....Brugge and erm...Gladbach! Even the Madrid team you played are inferior to todays team and lets not forget that most deserved CL win in 05...when you could only finish 5th! Oh and lets just ignore that Fergie has the BEST record in Europe than any current manager, the 'flukey' sod! The difference is.....its harder to win it these days, it was easy before, only 2 maybe 3 decent teams ever in it....its no coincidence that as soon as other clubs started making money and the competition became harder....Liverpool disappeared completly, along with the likes of Brugge and Gladbach of course.

Haha look at the Liverpool fans, nothing left to be pleased about other than the runaway prem leaders being clearly robbed in europe! How sad. Oh and I'm not really interested in easy EC wins when you only had to play 4 rounds to get to the final....god fergie played some of the small clubs pool faced in finals we'd have more cups....we were up against the greatest club side ever......you were up against Brugge, Gladbach and a Madrid side no where near as good as the current side. Its 2-1 in CL's.
