Fishcake - you have so much drivel in your reply that i don't know where to start...suffice to say I don't think the tactic of letting Madrid have the ball did that well considering ye lost. As for me returning here after the Arsenal game- what difference does it make if Arsenal lose? or indeed win - i was commentating on Ferguson losing cool not on Wenger/Arsenal... Now if the article was 'Wenger puts a pair of womens underwear on and runs naked around the pitch' and i had mentioned Ferguson overreacting then you might have a point... oh and Keane is a legend. (now that was irrelevant - or was it?)

@Dozzey....Look I dont need to argue with you, Mourinho said the best team lost. He didn't have to say that. He knows a lot more than you do I'm afraid. Fergie got his selections and tactics spot on for both games, then a red card changed it. Fergie switched Welbeck to the left and left RvP up front on his own whilst Mourinho did something even a Sunday league manager would do when needing a goal and a man up. Looking at the bench, the change was obvious...though not to some it seems. Your comment about possession says all you need to know about your tactical knowledge. Madrid are probably the best in the world at counter attacking. You stop that threat by defending deep and LETTING your opponent have the ball in front of you and challenge them to break you down, it worked. We did better than Barca did, they dont have the tactical nous Fergie has and got torn apart on the counter.....a game Fergie watched....they also had more of the possession. I mention Wenger because isn't that what an Arsenal fan should be concerned with? Good comeback? I thought you were trying to make a serious point, I didn't realise you were simply point scoring! Lets see if you on here after the Arsenal game, I'll save my comeback till then

@dozzey... I have to agree... SAF should have focused on what to do rather than toys out of the pram. If he had kept his head, he could have got the team focused, perhaps made some changes and fired them up... United did fall apart after the Nani sending off... gutted... As for the story on Rooney, I think SAF made the right call in not starting Rooney, and we will hopefully see a more fired up and determined Rooney again... everyone needs a little clip round the ear now and again...

A massive game from which Rooney was dropped doesn't mean he is leaving United or Fergie is selling him. It is business, nothing personal-realize that fact people.

ducorbel....im sorry but did i mention any names? I dont recall me naming anyone just Man U fans as a group....Its in majority of Man U fans blood to talk abs nonsense with the exception of die hard fans who do actually show some sort of loyalty. Its actually very rare ye can strike up a decent conversation with a United fan about United.

He started whipping up the crowd - had giggs doing the same thing... Mourniho set about reacting... ferguson just sat arms folded and all he could do was rant and rave - he gave no instructions to players, no tactical switch and Modric ran free for the next half hour and thus they conceded. He has to take some blame... as for him outclassing Mourniho - nonsense Mourinho played this one beautifully - all the deference and admiration before hand. He won the tie - Madrid had more possession. @fishcake what has Wenger got to to with anything - because i have Arsenal next to my name?.. yeah good comeback.

@Dozzey.....Its probably because all that only happened in your head, Fergie clearly outclassed Mourinho over both legs......whilst Wenger has been left looking like a rabbit in the head lights, which is probably why your on this page and not an Arsenal one.

@Dozzey - how exactly did he lose his nerve? The team looked like they did have an instruction as to what to do after the red card. They sat deep and left RVP up top on his own. The fact that Madrid were able to crack through is due to the quality of their players more than anything

Why are people being branded "plastic" if they think Rooney should be sold? It seems incredibly arrogant to label someone plastic because they don't agree with your opinion it pretty much equates to "shut up because I'm right and you're wrong so there". I don't really rate Rooney but I know lots of people do. I'm not going to brand them idiotic or anything because they don't agree with me and I kind of expect the same back.
