Alan Pardew: Newcastle boss starts the season at Manchester City

Alan Pardew's men will provide Manuel Pellegrini with his first taste of English football at the Etihad Stadium.

Pardew will then face his former club West Ham United at St James' Park before they finish the opening month at home to Fulham.

The opening derby of the season comes at the Stadium of Light when Newcastle face Sunderland on October 26th.

The return at St James' Park is due to take place on February 1st.

Newcastle fans will be at home on Boxing Day with Mark Hughes's Stoke City due on Tyneside, but they face a trip to the Midlands on New Year's Day for a clash with West Bromwich Albion.

Newcastle also finish the season away from home, as they face a trip to Anfield to tackle Liverpool.
