Prices cut for Newcastle games

West Brom have decided to offer reduced ticket prices to both home and away supporters for the Premier League game against Newcastle at The Hawthorns on New Year's Day.

Ticket prices for the fixture, which is scheduled to kick-off at 3pm on Wednesday January 1, have yet to be finalised, but the club have confirmed they will be no higher than £15 adults and £5 concessions.

As part of a reciprocal agreement that West Brom have struck with Newcastle, the discounted prices of £15 adults and £5 concessions will also be on offer to Albion fans for the reverse fixture at St James' Park on Saturday November 30 (ko 5.30pm).

West Brom chief executive Mark Jenkins said: "We decided at the start of the season to reduce prices for both sets of fans at the Newcastle home game due to the timing of the fixture.

"We hope the prices that will be on offer will make the game more affordable to supporters - especially families - during what is an expensive time of year.

"We have announced the offer earlier than usual after Newcastle recently contacted us to discuss setting reciprocal away ticket prices for this season's games between the two teams.

"We are always open to working with fellow clubs on ticket offers, especially if they will be of benefit to our own supporters."

aha, as a German supporting United I can only agree with your great insight in German football! No idea why, but I HATE Eintracht Braunschweig and please don't ever place a bet on Leverkusen, they mess up my ticket every time!
