Parkinson: Squad almost fully fit

Parkinson: Squad almost fully fit

Centre-half Luke Oliver and winger Kyel Reid are ready to return to contention after respective hamstring injuries and midfielder Michael Flynn is a week away from a comeback following his long-term illness, leaving full-back Simon Ramsden (broken toe) as the only player currently injured.

"I'm not looking at the moment because we're ok," Parkinson said. "We're just working hard this week to get the ones who have been injured up to speed.

"Reidy and Olly will have another good physical week and Flynny's getting closer too.

"It's good to have a clean slate again, especially if we can get Rammers back soon. We've got a lot of games coming up in the next month, so we'll need to use the squad."

his is for the best, his hunger would be in serious question now after winning everything with us. A true Chelsea legend, up there with Osgood and Zola, come back and see us now and then Didier. And as Martin Tyler said on Saturday night....he is immortal at Chelsea. What a way to go out eh....Good luck big man wherever you land next.
