England Under-21 manager Gareth Southgate insists that Wilfried Zaha and Ravel Morrison have settled their differences, following an on-field bust-up last month.

"I think we have to have an appreciation of each other's characters. We're a strong team because we've got that diversity of character, we respond in different ways."

The U21 boss believes that the wingers are indispensable to the England side, despite last month's unsavoury incident.

"Those two are the types of players they are because they live slightly on the edge in terms of their responses and emotions," added Southgate.

"We have to understand we need all of those types of people to be a successful team. Those guys will win us matches."
