Tal Ben Haim: Has linked up with QPR on a short-term deal

The capital outfit have yet to get going this season, and sit bottom of the table as a result.

Just two victories have been secured in 21 fixtures so far, leaving them five points adrift of safety.

Results to this point would suggest that QPR are heading back to the Championship, but Ben Haim is confident the tide can be turned.

The experienced defender has linked up with Harry Redknapp's side on a short-term deal and sees no reason why they cannot complete the Great Escape.

"I don't think any team has done it before," Ben Haim told Sky Sports News HD.

"People say West Brom, but West Brom did it with the same manager for the whole year.

"Here they changed the manager and he has a squad that he didn't pick. He has taken that squad, which is new to him, and if he keeps them in the Premier League, I think that would be a massive achievement - the best ever in the Premier League.

"It is definitely possible, but it's going to be very hard. We are ready for the challenge."
