Joey Barton: Does not expect to play at QPR again

Barton is spending the season on loan at the Ligue 1 club after falling out with QPR in the summer following his 12-match ban for violent conduct in the final game of last term against Manchester City.

The midfielder, who has two years remaining on his QPR deal, is enjoying life in the French top tier and would be open to prolonging his stay.

But he admits returning to the Premier League is still an attractive prospect.

"I cannot see me playing again at QPR," said Barton. "Marseille had faith in me when no one had faith anymore, so I want to pay them back for that.

"At the right moment we will talk. But I miss Premier League."

A thug and a nutter and I'll never forgive him for not belting Aguero! (Mancunian conspiracy theory about Mickeys undermining Utd's Prem chances begins now!) If you haven't seen his French accent You Tube it's even funnier than Stevie Mc's Dutch job. There was some talent there at one point but the bolts on the noggin were never quite tight enough.
