Julio Cesar: Ruling nothing out as he plans for Loftus Road exit

The 33-year-old has been told that he is free to find a new club this summer after suffering relegation out of the Premier League in his debut season at Loftus Road.

A number of clubs have been heavily linked with the vastly-experienced shot-stopper, with an enviable CV which includes a UEFA Champions League triumph with Inter Milan making him an attractive proposition.

A return to Italy has been widely touted, with Roma reported to be leading the chase, but Cesar is ruling nothing out as he continues his quest for international glory on home soil.

He said: "If I have a good performance in this competition, many things might change for me and my future.

"By having a good competition and being champions, more clubs might be interested in me.

"I have been fully focused on the Confederations Cup since it started and will let my future be decided by the people that represent me.

"I will not be closing the door on Italian football, as they embraced me eight years ago and allowed me to reach the peak of my career.

"It would be good to return to Italian football, knowing the league and the language. Rome is a beautiful city and I won't rule that out as a possibility."

ever ceases to amaze me when ex players come out with comments like that. Clearly they have zero interest in the best interests of a club that provided them with a living to be making such idiotic and boorish comments as that. Shame on you Jimmy Case.
