Reports emanating from Turkey last week claimed West Brom had agreed a deal to sign the Besiktas shot-stopper in the summer.

McGregor only joined Besiktas last summer after leaving Rangers and he has impressed during his time in Turkey.

Clarke has moved to dismiss the talk that a deal has been agreed to bring McGregor to The Hawthorns at the end of the season.

"That is just a load of rubbish," Clarke is quoted as saying in the Daily Record.
