Fleetwood keeper impressing on loan at Wrexham

Sky Sports understands a host of clubs are keeping tabs on Wrexham loan star Chris Maxwell.

Maxwell has impressed at Wrexham since rejoining his old club on loan from Fleetwood on transfer deadline day in January.

The Wales Under 21 international has kept four clean sheets in eight appearances for Wrexham and his performances have not gone unnoticed.

Maxwell has been instrumental in helping Wrexham stay top of the Conference and also reach the final of the FA Trophy.

The 22-year-old has only been on the losing side once in his eight appearances since his loan arrival at the Racecourse Ground and scouts have been flocking to watch him in action.

Maxwell is highly-rated at Fleetwood, but he is yet to make his debut for the club with the League Two outfit well-stocked in the goalkeeping department.
