m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
afa has to be favourite for the Everton job now, surely :) He'll realise his ambition to live and work on Merseyside again, get the best out of whoever plays for them, maybe win some cups and be thoroughly loathed by the toffee fans. What's not to like? Go ead, Ken, gimajob!

That's one opinion, but others give their thanks to the man. We also have ideas for a relegation playoff, happy memories of the season and a defence of Liverpool's campaign...

I think the problem Mancini has right now ( him still dreaming) is the fact that he is still second place even after being 15 points behind. Can someone remind him he is actually like 5 - 6th position in the good old days?

Everton get an onside goal ruled off, referee gives City a free kick for the initial handball..... Where did the decisions not go for City? I'm really tired of Mancini and his cohorts excuses for their failings this season. The management should really begin to ask themselves some posing questions regarding their ability.

@dactyl...So in your mind I'm not allowed to form an opinion because I haven't watched every game? Right ok then. Fact is that being 15 points behind isn't good enough, not when City have spent the money they have. Obviously that gap may be reduced but so far this season City's performance in the league has been terrible. All eyes are on City and its hard enough justifying the massive sums of money they spend without being utterly rubbish like we have been this year. And as for being a glory supporter, if I was I would be sticking my head in the sand making up excuses for City being so s**t. Which seems to be exactly what you are doing. So the chances are that I am more of a real fan than you are. Oh....and thank you for the grammar lesson, I bet YOU'RE a right hoot on a night out.

As has been pointed out, there's really no point moaning about the penalty decision as key decisions went both ways at various stages. Quite possibly favouring City overall. I'm going to take note next time I see Probert referee though. Can he really be that bad every week? On this performance he seemed set on spoiling the game from the off and is either an awful decision maker or considers far more than simply what he sees happening on the pitch. Anyway, good work Everton. I said earlier in the season that Dortmund had played like Everton at their best, and there you were, playing like Dortmund again.

I d say the same about this as I did about Fergie not talking to the press after the Madrid game. If he s angry its best he doesn t come out and talk to the press as they will leap on anything he says. I sort of agree with you markarogers although from a different slant I wouldn t blame the officials because as with the offside the penalty incident happens so quickly its easy to make a mistake thier only human afterall. Fair play to Everton who were brilliant and to United who over the season have been much better than us and everyone else.

I think he's more embarrassed than angry. I wouldn't want to face the media either after the performances this season with the money he's got. What do City fans think about him? And who would you get in to replace him?

bright and edgy You can't know anything about a team defending a title unless you are a regular match going fan of that team. So unless you're (note the spelling) one of those glory hunters we read about whose allegiance changes every season, your post made no sense. I had assumed you were a City fan and therefore followed only them but perhaps you aren't. I suggest you read your posts before posting them. It always helps.

@dactyl....I'm talking about the season following any team winning the title you muppet not just City. And your wrong again....I was giving props to Man Utd for pretty much sealing the title this year, Utd being better and City not giving/playing at 100%....not whether Everton were better than City today. So if your done trying to correct me, wind your neck in and pipe down.
