Yaya Toure: Denies links with PSG

The future of the Manchester City midfield star has been called into question after quotes from his agent claimed that he was not happy at the club and would likely leave in the summer.

Links with Paris Saint Germain soon followed but Toure, whilst on international duty with Ivory Coast, has denied those claims.

"No, I don't think of PSG," Toure told local newspaper Sport-Ivoire.

"You know that with the approach of the transfer window, there are many things that are said in the newspapers.

"We are professional and so far I have not given any agreement with any club. I am for the moment a City player and I will fight so that we finish the season in good conditions.

"In a club there are players and administrators. We are like soldiers and we carry out what employers say.

"The most important thing for me is to continue to have fun and to entertain the public."

Toure's current deal with Manchester City runs until 2015.

hould have stayed because we carried him for 6.5 years. And then he has a breakthrough season, and was gone soon after. MU fans, you would be as disgusted had C Ronaldo left in 2007 and not 2009.

ood grief. Someone guessed that the form English player at the moment might be in his national side with some other players? And that's espionage? Now if they discovered that Emile Heskey was going to be in the starting line up.... at right back.... THAT would be espionage. Give it a rest Roy.
