Yossi Benayoun: Planning to leave Chelsea this summer

The Israeli playmaker has struggled to hold down a regular role with the Blues since moving to Stamford Bridge in 2010.

He has taken in loan spells at Arsenal and West Ham United after finding himself out of favour, but no permanent move has materialised.

Benayoun claims he is weighing up offers from clubs in Europe and the USA and that he has decided to leave Stamford Bridge in search of regular first-team football.

"If I wanted to stay perhaps I could, but I'm looking for a team where I can express myself more," Benayoun told the London Evening Standard.

"Agents are talking about offers from America, Spain, Russia and England, but there's nothing concrete at the moment.

"I've no regrets about staying at Chelsea. I've been a strong part of the rotation system, starting some games and coming on as a sub in others. That's something to be taken into account, when there are attacking midfielders in the squad like (Juan) Mata, Oscar, (Victor) Moses and (Eden) Hazard."
