Erik Pieters: Is set to finally complete a move to Stoke

The 24-year-old Holland international had been tipped to join the Potters in January - only for an injury to scupper the move.

Despite the departure of manager Tony Pulis and the arrival of Mark Hughes in his place, Stoke have maintained their interest in Pieters, who is expected to land in England on Thursday to finalise the deal.

A product of the FC Utrecht academy, PSV paid 2.5m euros for his services in 2008 and he has gone on to make 17 appearances for the national side.
