Robert Lewandowski: Will spend the 2013/14 campaign with Borussia Dortmund

The Poland international was among those expected to be on the move during the current transfer window, having expressed a desire to take on a new challenge.

Bayern Munich were reported to be his favoured destination, while numerous clubs in England - including Manchester United and Chelsea - were said to be monitoring his situation closely.

Dortmund have, however, been able to convince Lewandowski to stay put and have rewarded him with a bumper pay rise.

The 25-year-old now claims to be settled and fully committed to the Dortmund cause, with his focus locked on ensuring that the 2013/14 campaign is as successful as possible.

Lewandowski told Bild: ""It is the case that I will stay for another year at Dortmund. We have settled all our disagreements and talked things over. There are no more problems.

"Dortmund are ready to mount an attack for every title. We are chasing Bayern."
