John Ruddy: Has been sidelined since November

The 26-year-old is recovering from surgery on a torn muscle and has been absent since the draw at Everton on November 24.

But Ruddy was fit enough to play all of the 2-0 defeat at Newcastle on Monday night and is expected to make his first-team comeback in the closing weeks of the season.

Writing on his official Twitter account, Ruddy said: "Good to get the 90 minutes, leg held up ok."

The imminent return of the England international will be a welcome boost for manager Chris Hughton as understudy Mark Bunn limped out of Saturday's 2-2 draw with Swansea after suffering a groin problem on his first match back from suspension.

Third-choice Lee Camp could again be between the posts for this weekend's trip to Arsenal as Norwich try to ease their growing relegation fears.

The Canaries are just four points above the drop-zone, but winger Elliott Bennett is confident the team can pull clear of danger.

"If we draw six of the next six then that would put us on 41 points - that would probably be enough.

"It is all about Premier League survival, not about how many wins you get in a season.

"For this football club it is about staying in the Premier League and then building on that for next season."
