Matt Etherington: Stoke winger struggling with back complaint

Winger Etherington continues to struggle with a back problem and defender Wilson sustained a hamstring injury in the vital victory over QPR last time out.

The Loftus Road success lifted Tony Pulis' men to six points above the bottom three ahead of their clash with Norwich, although Wigan in 18th do have a game in hand on the teams above them.

Pulis confirmed that the duo were undergoing treatment in a bid to get them back on the field, but is unsure if they will be fit to feature again this term.

He said: "They're a concern. We don't know when, or if, they'll be back.

"Both of them are having intensive treatment and it's a case of keeping everything crossed.

"We have missed Matt in our home games because of the pace he has to stretch teams."
