Hugo Lloris: Tottenham goalkeeper keen to focus on Sunderland

Arsene Wenger moved back into pole position for the fourth and final UEFA Champions League berth place with their 4-1 win over Wigan.

Spurs are a point behind their north London rivals, with an inferior goal difference so have to secure victory, and hope Arsenal do not win.

Speaking to the official club website, Lloris said: "We can't think about the Arsenal result, we have to think about our performance, we need three points and from there, we can see what happens.

"It won't be easy. Sunderland have good players, a good team and when we played against them in December, it was a tough game. That was a good result for us.

"It has been difficult for them and a number of teams concerned with relegation.

"Paolo Di Canio has realised his objective, he has saved the team in the Premier League and it is never easy to play against a team that has no pressure."

Defender Jan Vertonghen added: "All we can do is win our games and it's important for us to keep believing. We would have to do that anyway on Sunday, so let's hope we can."

hould have stayed because we carried him for 6.5 years. And then he has a breakthrough season, and was gone soon after. MU fans, you would be as disgusted had C Ronaldo left in 2007 and not 2009.

ood grief. Someone guessed that the form English player at the moment might be in his national side with some other players? And that's espionage? Now if they discovered that Emile Heskey was going to be in the starting line up.... at right back.... THAT would be espionage. Give it a rest Roy.
