Curtis Davies: Ready to step back up into the Premier League with Hull City

Birmingham City boss Lee Clark revealed to Sky Sports News on Monday that a fee had been agreed with the Tigers for Davies.

He confirmed that personal terms were in the process of being thrashed out and that a medical was due to be undertaken.

It appears as though discussions have run smoothly and that the centre-half has passed all of his physical examinations.

Davies is now ready to commit himself to Hull and their quest to cement a standing back among English football's elite.

The 28-year-old has competed on a top-flight stage in the past, with impressive showings at West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa earning him a call-up to the senior England squad.
