Robert Snodgrass: Leaves Old Trafford on a stretcher

The 26-year-old suffered concussion following a clash of heads with Manchester United's Brazilian defender Rafael and was carried off the Old Trafford pitch on a stretcher following six minutes of treatment.

He was taken to a local hospital for precautionary reasons before being released.

Norwich City boss Chris Hughton said of the incident: "He was out for a period of time. It is very much concussion.

"He has taken a whack and needed an X-ray just to make sure there is nothing broken.

"By the time he left for hospital he was awake and aware of what was happening around him."

Looking ahead to this weekend's second visit to Manchester in five days, Hughton said that Nathan Redmond was also doubtful after picking up a hip injury.
