Hugo Lloris: Back in training after Goodison Park injury

The France international was knocked unconscious in an accidental collision with Everton striker Romelu Lukaku during Sunday's goalless draw at Goodison Park.

Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas controversially allowed Lloris to remain on the pitch for the remaining 12 minutes of the game.

However the 26-year-old was given the all-clear following a brain scan and was back with the Tottenham squad for their first training session at their Enfield HQ since the trip to Merseyside.

Lloris has started all three of Tottenham's Group K games in the Europa League so far, although Villas-Boas could decide to give Brad Friedel another chance in goal against Moldovan champions Sheriff at White Hart Lane.

Spurs are chasing a fourth successive group win and another victory will put them through to the knockout stages for a second successive year.

There was a strong backlash against Villas-Boas' decision not to substitute Lloris at Everton.

FIFA's chief medical officer, the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) and international players' union FIFPro all condemned the decision, but Spurs insist the player was fit to continue playing after extensive medical tests.
