Loic Remy: Delighted with team-mate Tim Krul

Krul produced a string of fine saves to keep Spurs at bay at White Hart Lane, whilst Remy fired home the winner in the first-half.

"Tim was brilliant," Remy told the club's website.

"In my opinion he was the man of the match and there is no competition.

"He was simply amazing and we needed that. Everyone put in great performances but Tim was on a different level.

"I have played with a lot of very good goalkeepers in my career but today Tim's performance was the best I've seen. He preserved the score for us and helped us win."

Remy, on a season-long loan from QPR, has now scored seven goals - but he insists he is just doing his job.

"I am very pleased but I am a striker and it is my job to score goals. That is what I do for the team - I always want to do my best for my team-mates," he said.

"It is only seven goals at the moment though. I want more and I hope I score a lot more between now and the end of the season."
