Vidic returns to training

Manchester United skipper Nemanja Vidic could be on course to make a comeback soon after returning to training.

Last Updated: 04/12/12 at 16:04 Post Comment

The Serbian defender has been absent since September after undergoing knee surgery.

Injuries have meant Vidic has played just 15 times for United since the start of last season, but Sir Alex Ferguson will be hoping he can soon call upon his skipper.

Ferguson called United's defending at Reading over the weekend the worst he had seen this season, so the chance of adding Vidic to his defensive options will be a huge boost.

t's a bloody good goal, though. Sh!t, the kid's gonna be the worlds best before we know it, isn't he? He's got the touch of genius in him. Like Neymar, but with muscles and stuff. He's doing a Ronaldo as we watch. He's bulked up to be able to ride the tackles, but he's improved technically as well. His touch is sublime. Bugger.
