Ryan Giggs: Looking forward to next summer's friendly in Australia

Football Federation Australia announced the match will take place in Sydney on July 28 and will feature a full-strength Manchester United squad.

Sir Alex Ferguson's side last played in Australia in 1999, when they faced the national team.

The All Stars team will be selected by fans and could include former Juventus star Alessandro Del Piero, currently playing for Sydney FC, and ex-England striker Emile Heskey of the Newcastle Jets.

FFA chief executive David Gallop said the match "will put the A-League on the world stage."

United midfielder Ryan Giggs said: "We know we've got a lot of supporters over there who probably spend a lot of the time getting up in the middle of night to watch our games, but to actually see the lads train and play will be great for them.

"It'll be brilliant for the players as well because we realise that we've got fans across the world."

m curious as to what image Real Madrid are trying to re-establish as I always thought their pre-Jose image was one of a bunch of a classless bullies tapping up whoever they wanted while living it large on borrowed money they're never going to pay back.
