The FA Cup third round has thrown up some intriguing fixtures with the big boys entering the fray.

All of those involved will get the chance to put league concerns to one side as the dream of going all the way to Wembley and the final in May.

The pick of the ties sees West Ham play host to Premier League leaders Manchester United at Upton Park, where Joe Cole could make his second debut for the club after his arrival on a free transfer from Liverpool.

There are also three other all-Premier League ties with Chelsea travelling to Southampton aiming to bounce back from their shock midweek defeat to Queens Park Rangers.

QPR play host to West Brom, but Harry Redknapp is expected to ring the changes to his side with survival his main aim this season.

On Sunday, Arsenal make the trip to Wales to take on Swansea hoping to avenge their recent Premier League defeat to Michael Laudrup's men.

Tottenham take on Coventry at White Hart Lane in a repeat of the 1987 final when the Sky Blues prevailed 3-2.

High-flying Bournemouth will be hoping to pull off a shock when they take on Premier League outfit Wigan at the DW Stadium.

Norwich face a tricky trip to Championship outfit Peterborough with Chris Hughton set to rest many of his top stars for the clash at London Road.

Sheffield Wednesday will be hoping to avoid a shock when they play host to MK Dons.

Sheffield United put their League One promotion bid on the backburner when they travel to League Two Oxford United.

Finally Southend welcome Brentford to Roots Hall aiming to get the better of the League One side.
