Kurt Zouma: Has been linked with a Premier League move

The 18-year-old centre-back has had a big impact in Ligue 1 since making his senior debut last season, playing 10 top-flight games this term.

His performances are thought to have alerted a number of top-flight clubs, including Manchester United and Chelsea.

Zouma, who has represented France at Under-19 level and is already being talked about as a future leader of the senior national side, committed to St Etienne on a new contract until 2017 last month.

The talented teenager says he is happy to continue his development at the French side and feels it could be too soon for a move abroad.

He said: "To be honest I want to stay here for one more year or even more.

"It is not an easy experience to go abroad early in your career. At the end of the season we will see what happens."

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
