Phil Neville (left) set to renew acquaintance with David Moyes - and Manchester

Sky sources understand Neville was at the United training ground on Thursday morning as Moyes looks to finalise his backroom team ahead of the tour to the Far East later this month.

Neville made 385 appearances in 11 seasons as a first-team player at Old Trafford.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez had claimed he intended to speak with the 36-year-old - who retired last season after eight years at Goodison Park - about a coaching role on Merseyside.
