Yossi Benayoun: Set to become a free agent at the end of the season

The Israel international will see his current contract at Stamford Bridge expire at the end of the season.

Benayoun has been drafted back into the Blues fold following Rafa Benitez's arrival as interim boss, but is unlikely to be offered fresh terms.

That means he will be on the move over the summer, with the former West Ham United and Liverpool playmaker already generating interest.

Clubs in Russia are believed to be leading the chase for his signature at present, but Benayoun's representative claims the 32-year-old will mull over all offers before making a decision on his future.

Ronen Katsav told Izvestia: "Benayoun will be a free agent in the summer and there is bound to be an interest in such a good player.

"Yossi is focused on his job at Chelsea to adequately complete the current season.

"Before his contract ends, we will consider all offers."

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.

afa has to be favourite for the Everton job now, surely :) He'll realise his ambition to live and work on Merseyside again, get the best out of whoever plays for them, maybe win some cups and be thoroughly loathed by the toffee fans. What's not to like? Go ead, Ken, gimajob!

hat is arguably the least inspiring England I have ever seen. There is not a single name in that list that makes me think I might actually want to watch this team. Not a one.
