Jose checks on players

Radamel Falcao spoke to Sky Sports News after Colombia's 2-0 win over Belgium - which was watched by Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho travelled to Brussels on Thursday for the friendly between the two World Cup qualifiers.

The Blues chief insisted that he was there to watch his own players, with both Kevin De Bruyne and Eden Hazard starting in the defeat.

Asked why he was there Mourinho said: "To see my players.

"For a friendly, it was a very good game."

Falcao, meanwhile, was asked about Mourinho's presence in the stands at the King Baudouin Stadium.

"He came here to see good football, played by good players and to see a good spectacle," he told Sky Sports News.

Asked about an interest in moving to England, the Colombian star said: "The Premier League is one of the most important in the world but I am playing well and enjoying Monaco."

Another player who may have caught Mourinho's eye was Romelu Lukaku, who is currently starring in his loan spell at Everton and he came off the bench against Colombia.

Asked if Mourinho would have been impressed, he replied: "I don't know, that is something you have to ask him. I hope to make a good impression on him."
