Marko Marin does not see a future for him at Chelsea and would be willing to make a loan deal at Sevilla permanent.

Marko Marin: Willing to discuss permanent move away from Chelsea

Marko Marin: Willing to discuss permanent move away from Chelsea

The Germany international moved to Stamford Bridge as a free agent in the summer of 2012, penning a five-year contract.

He has, however, struggled to make an impact in England and was allowed to head for Spain on a season-long deal in June 2013.

With Chelsea now well-stocked for creativity, there would appear to be little chance of Marin forcing his way back into Jose Mourinho's plans.

The 24-year-old accepts as much and would welcome the opportunity to remain in La Liga if all parties are willing to open transfer talks.

Marin told Estadio Deportivo: "If both Sevilla and me are happy to stay, I can stay here forever.

"We'll see what happens in the summer. The first thing is to play, be fit and help the team in the end of the season and then we'll decide.

"If the fans want it, Monchi (Sevilla's sporting director) wants it and the coach wants it, why not?

"But the most important thing is to be fit and play.

"Speaking about a permanent move before that is not worthwhile because I can't help the team if I do not play."

reat article. Hits the nail on the head. Encapsulates why I don't read tabloid newspapers anymore. The only thing worse is the 'told you so first' headline when they get lucky.

amous. If that can be achieved whilst sitting in your pants and without any degree of hard work, all the better. I have no desire to be famous, but the rest of that line suits me just fine. Great article by the way, well worth the wait.

here seems to be little focus on the performance of Besiktas. They played very well and stopped Arsenal from playing. Credit has to go to their manager. As much as Arsenal didn't play too well, we kept a clean sheet, but the home side made it very difficult.
