Bafetimbi Gomis: Lyon striker has been linked with a move to Liverpool and Chels

The 27-year-old France international has been linked with a potential move to the Premier League with Chelsea and Liverpool both hot on the heels of the player, according to reports.

Gomis, who has 18 months remaining on his current deal, has scored 13 goals in all competitions this season and is helping Lyon keep up their challenge at the top of Ligue 1.

Aulas claims the interest in Gomis is not only from England, but expects the situation to be resolved in the coming weeks.

He told a press conference: "Bafe has talked about Chelsea in the past as they seem a very prestigious club to him, but there are also other propositions.

"Of course, all the talk is about him moving to England, but there are other European clubs interested in him too.

"I'm sure things will begin to accelerate in the next couple of weeks and we expect things to be sorted soon."
