Luis Suarez: Not facing any action over alleged stamping incident

Luis Suarez: Not facing any action over alleged stamping incident

The Uruguayan forward was pictured stepping on defender Tomas Hubocan's back towards the end of the Anfield encounter and some observers felt he deliberately stamped.

Dutch referee Bjorn Kuipers did not punish Suarez for the incident but UEFA is able to use video evidence if it wishes to review any possible misconduct.

However, UEFA has said its "disciplinary unit has decided not to open a case".

Suarez was on target with a pair of long range free-kicks that night as Liverpool prevailed 3-1 but they went out on the away-goals rule, having lost the first leg 2-0 in Russia.

Suarez is interested in your lame opinions. levi, the first comment wasn't worth posting, the second definitely not, the third, zzzzzz

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
