Jordan Henderson: Looking to help Liverpool back into Europe for 2013/14

The Reds have recovered from a slow start to put themselves in contention for a top-five finish and a place in Europe.

They have eight games in which to hit that particular target, and a number of those contests will be considered winnable by those at Anfield - with fixtures against the likes of Aston Villa, West Ham United, Newcastle United, Reading and Queens Park Rangers to come.

Henderson insists Liverpool will be taking nothing for granted during the run-in, with there a desire within Brendan Rodgers' ranks to finish strongly and ensure that continental competition returns to Merseyside in 2013/14.

He said: "They will be tough games until now and the end of the season because these teams will be fighting for their lives.

"But, at the same time, we are fighting to finish the season well and finish as high as we can. So we will match their fight and I'm sure the quality we have will shine through.

"I've enjoyed playing in Europe because I had never played in the Europa League before. I enjoyed the games and it is important that we get back there.

"Every game between now and the end of the season is massive for us. Hopefully at the start of next season we will be in the Europa League and, if we win every game, maybe the Champions League."

ven if United were to sign CR7 & Messi to play upfront, the fact remains Fletcher and Cleverly are playing in midfield. That's where the problem is. Fletcher is too slow with an awful pass, while Cleverly is simply rubbish
