Suarez flirted with a move away in the summer but appears rehabilitated after his biting ban, netting 17 Premier League goals so far this season to help the Reds to second in the table.
Liverpool withstood pressure to sell their chief asset and Toure believes their renaissance this term will convince the Uruguayan to stay through the January transfer window and beyond.
"He is here; for us we love him because he is a great player," Toure said.
"We don't of course want to lose him to another team. I think now he can see that all the players want to fight and want to try to win this title definitely."
Manager Brendan Rodgers has played down his side's credentials but Toure reckons Sunday's crushing 5-0 win at Tottenham makes them real contenders.
"We are challenging," he added. "Every single game is really important for us and I think we started the (Tottenham) game very well, very strong, and we played as a team.
"We fight, we attack, we defend together and that is very important when you want to challenge for the title, definitely."
