Arsenal forward Joel Campbell, currently on-loan at Real Betis, has hinted he would like to extend his stay in Spain beyond the end of the season, especially if he gets the chance to play in Europe.

The Costa Rican is on a season-long deal in Seville, and is yet to receive a work permit to play in England.

Betis have been enjoying a fine season, and currently sit in seventh spot in La Liga, which may be enough to get them into the Europa League next season, courtesy of Copa del Rey finalists Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid being practically assured of a Champions League qualification spot already.

Campbell is enjoying life in Spain, and talked up the possibility of remaining at the club.

"I feel very comfortable and have identified with the team and people of Betis," he told eldesmarque.es.

"I love the city, and if I have to stay I am available. Hopefully we will be in Europe too."

The 20 year-old admitted that it may be out of his hands, and acknowledged going back to the Gunners would not necessarily be a bad thing.

"I do not deny that I would love to show what I have in a team like Arsenal," he added.
