That's it - not time for Marseille to even claim an equaliser - a huge win for Arsenal.GOAL - JORDAN AYEW - He steps up and converts into the top corner.Marseille penalty, loose touch from Ramsey and Andre Ayew comes in and the Welshman catches him.Three minutes of added time.And Arsenal bring on Ryo Miyaichi for Flamini.Valbuena is replaced by Saber Khalifa.Morel puts ball into the box looking for Gignac but he can't take it and Gibbs clears.GOAL - AARON RAMSEY - The Welshman picks the ball up 25-yards out, drives to the edge of the box and fires home into the bottom corner.Monreal does well in the box, he finds Ozil who fires just wide.Monreal puts a nice ball into the box, Wilshere feeds it back across for Giroud - but Mandanda does enough and claims it.Good run for Jordan Ayew, he finds his brother Andre - Arsenal clear but only as far as Valbuena who fires wide.Florian Thauvin comes on for Imbula.Nacho Monreal comes on for Walcott.Valbuena again goes for goal as he is unchallenged 25-yards out, but this is straight at Szczesny.Valbuena picks up from Gignac header on the edge of the box and fires it just over the bar.Jordan Ayew is on for Payet.Giroud wins a corner off Fanni as he looked to take the ball down. Walcott takes and Giroud heads wide.Gibbs does well, first clearing from Morel cross and then from Valbuena in quick succession.Szczesny just about manages to tip Payet shot wide of his post. A bit of head tennis from the corner ends with Mendes putting it over the bar.Good defending from Wilshere as he wins foul off Fanni as the full-back looked to break into the box.GOAL - THEO WALCOTT - The England man volleys home after Morel makes a mess of his clearance.More good work from Fanni getting the better of Gibbs, he crosses but Mertesacker clears. Imbula picks up the ball on the edge of the box and goes for goal but Szczesny is down to make a comfortable stop.Fanni gets the better of Wilshere as the Arsenal man slips, he finds Valbuena - he goes for goal but it cannons back off Mertesacker.Gibbs has to clear off the line as Mertesacker's mistimed clearance loops over Szczesny but the England full-back is their to clear and spare the German's blushes.Ramsey wins a free-kick off Morel, wide on the left. Chance for Ozil to put this into the box - he does but Mendes clears.Great challenge from Ramsey on the edge of the box as Ayew was almost through - Arsenal clear and Sagna crosses to the back post for Wilshere, and Madanda does well to push it round the post.Ozil and Walcott look to break, but they try to play their way through and Romao is back to clear.Imbula breaks and feeds Morel on the left, his cross is cleared only as far as Payet and Szczesny is down well at his near post to make the save.Ramsey booked for challenge on Ayew.Good save from Mandanda as Ozil breaks into the box and he back-heels into the path of Gibbs - who finds the target but can't beat the Marseille keeper.Giroud wins free-kick off Mendes. About 35-yards out, Ozil is over it - but N'Koulou heads away.Lovely play by Ozil combining with Ramsey - the German looks for Walcott in the box and Mendes has to scramble it away. Ozil takes corner but Mendes heads clear.Marseille win an early corner as GIbbs deflects cross behind. Valbuena cross is poor and Arsenal clear, but only as far as Romao - he cuts it back for Fanni - he flashes it wide from eight-yards out, great chance and the home side should be ahead.Arsenal get second half underway, no changes for either side.Whistle goes for half-time and not a great 45-minutes but Marseille got stronger as the half went on.Marseille free-kick, this time Valbuena does put it into the box but it is poor and Gibbs clears - it comes back for Marseille and ball is played in for Gignac and Szczesny does well to come off his line and claim it at the second attempt.Wilshere and Ozil combine well on the left, it comes for Ramsey - he looks for run of Walcott but pass is poor and Morel intercepts easily.Payet is fouled about 35-yards out. Chance for Marseille to put this into the area. Valbuena sprays it out wide to Morel, but he plays it back inside for Payet and chance is gone.First card is for N'Koulou for challenge on Giroud.Payet takes and this time finds Gignac at near post and header is just inches over.Payet breaks into the box and Mertesacker slides in to clear ahead of Ayew - who was ready to pounced. Payet takes corner and Ramsey heads out ahead if Gignac.Arsenal enjoying possession, but not really doing much with it.Arsenal pressing, Ramsey gets it back of Wilshere and goes for goal - but it hits into team-mate Giroud.Another Marseille corner as Sagna gets block on Morel cross. Valbuena takes but Giroud heads clear.Arsenal try to counter as Giroud flicks ball on for Ozil but he is crowded out and N'Koulou comes away with the ball.Chance for Fanni to play in Payet down the right, he could have been clear but the pass was just over hit.Ayew looks to run at Sagna, but he gives away foul as the Arsenal man does well shielding the ball.Gignac again flagged for offside as Valbuena looked to play him through. Yet again a very close call, could have gone either way.Flamini finds Ozil on the left, he feeds it back inside for Wilshere - he tries to find Walcott, but Morel heads behind for a corner. Ozil takes and Mertesacker is down after being caught by boot of Romao.Excellent counter attack from Marseille and Ayew sends Gignac clear, but the offside flag is up - very close decision.Marseille win another corner. Valbuena to take the out-swinger, he looks for Gignac - Ramsey clears and it comes for Payet - he finds Ayew, who heads just wide from 12-yards. Good effort.Gignac collects the ball and comes into the box, but he sends his shot high and wide.Payet feeds Fanni down the right, he looks to take on Gibbs, but the Arsenal full-back does really well and comes away with the ball.Good break from Ayew, he cuts inside and finds Valbuena, who sends his half-volley just wide - decent chance for the home side.Free-kick given away by Gibbs for push on Payet. Marseille take short though as they continue to try and keep the ball.Fanni gets forward on the right and wins the first corner of the game. Payet takes and looks for Mendes, he finds him but the Brazilian can only flick it away.Good challenge from Ramsey to cut out shot from Payet as he was ready to unleash from 20-yards.Good work from Imbula bringing the ball out of midfield, he finds Payet, his nice flick lets Valbuena down the left but his cross is poor and out for a goal-kick.Ayew does well to spread the play to Gignac, he looks to try and win a corner near the corner flag - but it is out for a goal-kick.Flag is up again, this time for Gignac who was looking to latch onto a nice ball over the top from Romao.Yet another good run from Walcott is spotted by Ramsey - flag is up for offside as England man lobs it wide. Walcott having a lot of joy early on down the right.First save for Mandanda as long ball over the top finds Walcott who gets his shot away - despite clearly being pulled back by Morel.Arsenal stringing a number of passes together now, it comes for Wilshere who plays nice ball into the box looking for Walcott but Morel intercepts and it is back for Mandanda to clear.First attack for Arsenal and Ozil is free on the left edge of the box, he pulls it back for Walcott - whose header for goal is cleared, but a decent opening salvo from the Gunners.Gignac pushes forward down the left, he finds Valbuena, he comes inside and looks for goal with a curling effort but again fairly comfortable stuff for Szczesny.Marseille enjoying the early possession - Valbuena and Ayew combining well on the left, it comes back for Morel and he crosses for Gignac, but his flick is comfortable for Szczesny to take.Marseille kick-off in their traditional all white, kicking from right to left.
