Kim Kallstrom has enjoyed his Arsenal 'adventure' and hopes it will end on a high at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

Kim Kallstrom: Joined Arsenal on a short-term basis in January

The Swedish midfielder moved to Emirates Stadium on a short-term loan in January.

A deadline day move came as a surprise to some, but Arsene Wenger was eager to add experience to his ranks.

Kallstrom arrived nursing an injury, but he has made an important contribution since returning to full fitness.

It remains to be seen whether the 31-year-old will be retained over the summer, but he will be looking back fondly on his time in north London regardless of whether he is recruited or not.

"It's been great," he told Arsenal Player.

"Arsenal are an amazing club and there are a lot of nice people working here.

"The players are really skilful, the manager is really, really good and people really care about the club. There are a lot of fans too, and it has been a really nice adventure.

"I have just tried to do my best and get the most out of it as possible."

If Kallstrom is to return to parent club Spartak Moscow, he is determined to head back as an FA Cup winner.

Arsenal will be looking to end their long wait for trophy glory against Hull City this weekend, and Kallstrom hopes he can emulate the achievements of countryman Freddie Ljungberg by helping the Gunners to major silverware.

He added: "I played with Freddie and he was a great player for the national team, and obviously here at Arsenal he is a legend.

"If I can do just a little bit of what he has done then I will be happy.

"He scored a lot of goals and the thing about Freddie was his drive, he is a winner. When the big games came, when you hand out the trophies, he was always present."

PSG were probably not interested and he is stuck with no cake and no vacation. @Jay_D> Surely you jest about FFP being real, right? All Platini is doing is making billionaries pay measly fines, so he and his cronies can get rich. If a fool can pay 50 mil for David Luiz, he will happily pay some fine to UEFA. FFP has failed as for it to succeed UEFA had to take it...
