Reports have suggested that the highly-rated goalkeeper is among those Arsenal are keeping a close eye on, with Arsene Wenger expected to recruit in that area when the transfer window re-opens.

Mandanda is a proven performer at the highest level, with 250 appearances for Marseille to his name and 16 caps for France.

He remains under contract with his current employers until 2016, but that has done little to curb the rumours.

The 29-year-old is, however, adamant that no formal approach for his services has been made and that he remains committed to the Marseille cause.

Mandanda said: "I don't know what will happen next season, but it is likely that I will stay.

"I have not been approached by any club so far.

"When there is a World Cup, transfers are sorted out very late. Also, the goalkeeper market is quite narrow."

On the changes being made at Stade Velodrome, he added: "New coach Marcelo Biesla? He seems competent and ambitious.

"I have to know that he will rely on me. We have to talk. Whatever happens, I am at a great club."

was there, it was embarrassing - the team looked totally unbalanced from the off, the defence was woeful and when Mikel came off injured it got even worse with nobody in front of them. Up front on several occasions we had opportunities and nobody would shoot - it was a complete farse! On the back of Salah's performance I'm glad there is talk of getting shot...

reat to see Tommy Rosicky getting some love. A wonderful player. Such a pity we lost so long to injury. I was so excited when we signed him, this resurgence only makes the absences seem more of a lost opportunity.
