The Belgium international continues to see his long-term future at Goodison Park called into question, with Europe's top clubs falling over themselves in an effort to get to the front of the transfer queue.
Everton would be reluctant to part with a man in the form of his life, and one who has matured into a talismanic part of their plans, but money talks and the club have been prepared to part with key figures for the right price in the past.
Fellaini has made no secret of his desire to compete on the grandest of stages, but insists he would be happy to remain on Merseyside if David Moyes can oversee a top-four finish this season.
"I want to play in the Champions League, and if Everton finish in the top four then I'm happy to stay here - I'd love to do that with Everton," the 25-year-old midfielder told the Daily Mirror.
"I want to do that. I want to improve as a player and give everything for Everton.
"They brought me here from Standard Liege and gave me my chance to play in the Premier League and I always want to repay them for that. I want to go to the next level in the Champions League.
"We've got some very good players here, but if we can bring in one or two more in January then it will be a big, big help."
