The striker has impressed this season on his return from injury, scoring five times in his 13 appearances so far.

He set up two goals in Monday's 5-1 FA Cup win at Cheltenham but speaking after the victory, Moyes said the Nigerian - like the rest of his squad - was not for sale.

"Anichebe to Reading? No, no truth in that," Moyes said.

"We won't be selling anyone, if I have my way that's for sure."
