Reports in Africa suggest that Everton are in pole position to land his signature, while Fulham are also said to have shown an interest.
The 26-year-old, who currently plays for Rennes in France, is just pleased to have put his country on the footballing map and hopes they can build on a tremendous achievement.
He told Sky Sports: "We were very close, we gave a dream to our people back home, we made them proud of us and we deserved to come second.
"Nigeria, for their past three games, deserve to be winners.
"Now our football will be taken seriously. I hope it is a start and we can go forward not backward."
