Sane flattered by interest

Bordeaux defender Ludovic Sane admits he is flattered by interest reportedly shown by a number of Premier League clubs.

Ludovic Sane: Would like to ply his trade in the Premier League

Newcastle, Southampton, Everton, Wigan and West Ham are all thought to be tracking the 26 year-old Senegal international, who can also play in midfield.

His club seem understandably reluctant to part with his talents after an impressive campaign under head coach Francis Gillot.

And Sane, who is tied to the French outfit until 2015, says he is happy at the Stade Chaban-Delmas, but has conceded that he sees his future in the Premier League.

He told skysports.com: "I am very proud of my season but I have read that there is interest from English clubs in me and that can only be good news.

"Every physical and powerful player wants to play in the Premier League and I am no different.

"But there is nothing concrete at the moment and my club Bordeaux have been great to me and have given me an opportunity."

was there, it was embarrassing - the team looked totally unbalanced from the off, the defence was woeful and when Mikel came off injured it got even worse with nobody in front of them. Up front on several occasions we had opportunities and nobody would shoot - it was a complete farse! On the back of Salah's performance I'm glad there is talk of getting shot...
