Steve Cook: Attracting interest from a number of clubs

Cook has caught the eye for Bournemouth this season with a number of impressive performances since their promotion to the Sky Bet Championship.

The 22-year-old has been an ever-present for Eddie Howe's side this term and his fine form was rewarded with the club's player of the month award for October.

Cook's performances have not gone unnoticed with scouts flocking to the Goldsands Stadium to keep tabs on his progress.

Premier League trio Norwich, West Brom and Crystal Palace and Championship duo Queens Park Rangers and Leicester are all thought to be admirers of Cook.

Bournemouth tied Cook down to a new deal in the summer to ward off potential suitors and they are braced for further interest in the talented defender when the transfer window reopens in January.

I

think all those names linked to United exits make sense. Kagawa has never really looked like hitting the form he had at Dortmund and Fellaini is radioactive after last season (even though I think he's been unfairly singled out for criticism). Nani and Anderson have had more than their fair share of chances so they are done, and Hernandez deserves better than warming a bench.

e'll be off to Spurs (or better) in January and I don't blame him. Looking forward to re-signing Grant Holt as his replacement though.
