Shane Duffy: Has helped John Lundstram settle in

The 19-year-old midfielder arrived from Merseyside on loan deadline day in November and he admits having his Toffees team-mate to help him settle into Somerset life has made things much easier.

"It has been a big help," he said. "Shane has really helped me settle in.

"It is always hard going into a new dressing room when you don't know anyone. Having Shane and Morgo (Liverpool loanee Adam Morgan) who I knew from Liverpool has helped me settle in massively."

Lundstram caught the eye at the end of last season in League One with Doncaster and the England youth international says he is relishing the step up to the second tier.

"It's very fast-paced and a bigger step up than League One was," he admitted.

"I'm enjoying it and thriving off it really.

"I'm really enjoying my football at the moment and I'm thankful for the opportunity."
