The 27-year-old left-back will officially be registered as a Wanderers player when his current contract at Carrow Road expires this summer.

Tierney joined Norwich from Colchester in January 2011 and played a key role in the side which gained promotion from the Championship that season.

However, he has made just one Premier League appearance since December 2011 - the 5-0 defeat by Fulham on the opening day of last term.

Tierney is Trotters boss Dougie Freedman's first signing of the summer.
