Rob Hall: Has shown flashes of brilliance for Bolton

Hall showed flashes of brilliance during the Trotters' 1-0 defeat to Huddersfield on Tuesday night, with a mazy run and shot bringing the Reebok Stadium to its feet during the first half.

The former West Ham trainee has been in and out of Freedman's starting line-up, though, and lasted just 55 minutes against the Terriers before he was substituted after appearing to run out of steam.

Freedman knows the challenge is to get the 20-year-old to channel his youthful exuberance in the right areas but is relishing the prospect of helping him after aiding the development of the likes of Wilfried Zaha at his former club Crystal Palace.

"I've got a small track record in developing players and it's going to take time," Freedman said.

"I've seen flashes of brilliance, he's quite left-footed, he's quick, he just needs to learn that he's got to get through 95 minutes. That's his problem.

"He needs to understand the strength and the stamina that he's got to get. But that will come in a couple of years' time. It's just being patient with him, really.

"I'm probably impatient with Rob, I want to play him every game but I've got to just nurture him along as I've done with one or two other players at previous clubs."

All Platini is doing is making billionaries pay measly fines, so he and his cronies can get rich. If a fool can pay 50 mil for David Luiz, he will happily pay some fine to UEFA. FFP has failed as for it to succeed UEFA had to take it...
