Alan Hutton: Scotland defender has only played for his country this season

The Scotland international was recently informed he has no future at Villa Park by the club's manager Paul Lambert.

Hutton has been loaned to Nottingham Forest and Spanish side Mallorca during the last two seasons.

The 29-year-old former Tottenham full-back has only played six senior matches this season, all of them for Scotland.

Hutton will add some experience to the Bolton defence, with the team sitting just six points above the drop zone, having played three games more than third from bottom Charlton.

Not sure if he is any good as a manager (never thought about it) but the 'headbutt in the technical area' and what he said to Pelligrini were just brilliant, it was as if he was trying to recreate the end of the Alan Partridge Xmas special when Alan punched a man in a wheelchair and verbally abused Tony Heirs.
