Reading midfielder Jordan Obita has joined Oldham on a month-long loan.

Jordan Obita: Joining Oldham on loan

The 19-year-old will spend the next four weeks at Boundary Park as part of an emergency youth loan subject to Premier League and Football League clearance.

England Under-18 and 19 international Obita has made two first-team appearances for the Royals in the Carling Cup.

Earlier this season he played eight matches for Portsmouth as part of a loan deal. He has also undertaken temporary spells at Barnet and Gillingham.
